The Richmond Rowing Club are looking to have some of its members row down the Yarra and then up to Footscray and have invited FCRC members to join them for the event.

At this stage it is anticipated that interested FCRC members would need to make their way into the City to  the Richmond sheds for a 10am departure where they will provide boats and equipment for our members.

The plan will be to row down the Yarra through the basin and then up the Maribyrnong, stopping at FCRC where our participating members will host and prepare toasted sandwiches, tea and coffee before heading back to the Yarra and finishing with drink at the Richmond Club rooms.

This event is for experienced and competent crew rowers only as you will be required to row both ways (approx. 25kms), however there may be an opportunity to join as a cox.

Richmond were planning to row both quads and eights and subject to seat availability, we may not be able to accommodate all interested parties so priority will be given based on order of registration so get in early!
