What to Bring
Rowing is a sport requiring full body movement. We encourage you to wear tight fitting clothing such as a T-shirt and bike shorts. With the water reflecting the sun, please consider a hat and sunglasses. Thongs or flip-flops are appropriate footwear with a spare pair of socks to wear in the boat.
Please also bring a drink bottle and Ventolin or other medication if required.
What happens after LTR?
Following completion of the LTR program, rowers who chose to take up membership of the club are invited to join the Junior or Senior Development Squads. This Senior squad trains on Sunday mornings from 8:00am - 9:30am and also Tuesday & some Thursday evenings from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. The development squad builds on the basics taught during LTR and prepares rowers for integration into either the Junior, Senior or Masters competition squads. The Junior Development squad trains on Wednesday afternoons and Sunday mornings.
